About David Ashton

Owner, Insurance Agent

David was born and raised in the Upstate of South Carolina. After graduating from BYU-Idaho with a degree in accounting, working several years out of state at a small public accounting firm, and getting married he decided it was time to come back home.

The desire to have more client contact and help more people on an individual level led him to the world of insurance. After spending a brief stint at a captive insurance agency, he found his niche as an independent insurance agent. Having the freedom to recommend what is in the client’s best interest is his daily motivation.

In his free time David enjoys family activities with his wife and children, volunteering at his church, sports, and any fun venue or activity the Upstate has to offer.
